All fees are paid to ARA upon arrival. The program fee covers administrative charges, airport pickup, first night accommodation at the hotel where necessary, host family (food and accommodation), orientation and supervision.

All volunteer programs start on the first and third Monday of each month.

Our placements offers you the chance to take part in a wide range of activities. Whatever you're looking for career break, a summer programme or postgraduate time out, we believe one of our programmes can fit the bill - or else we do our best to tailor-make a placement for you. There are so many projects that you may not be able to decide between them. So we also offer combined projects, for a volunteering experience that will not only help others, but will broaden your horizons and extend your skills.

Please note: Our 2008 internship fees increased more than usual due to increased housing costs and extreme currency exchange rate changes between the US and Ghana Cedis.
